She was predeceased by: her father James Ostrander; and her stepmother Shirley. She is survived by: her mother Jeralene Ostrander (Fogelman); her children, Ashlie Cleghorn (Kendall Hall), Amber Cleghorn, Jayce Finnell and Payton Jones (Blexley); her brothers, Jeff Ostrander (Peggy) and Joel Ostrander (Shelby); her siblings' children, Isaac Ostrander (Breanna) and Grace Ostrander; her stepbrother Matt Caldwell (Corrie); and her grandchildren, Alyssa, Olivia, Emerald, Thomas, Opal, Amori and Otis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kavanaugh House in loving memory of Julie.
