He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Kellie Patterson; and his children, Laya and Laurel.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Des Moines (1800 Bell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50315). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
