Elizabeth Reeg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2021, Elizabeth Reeg of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Charlie" and Kaye McCarthy; and her mother-in-law Marian Reeg. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Trevor, Chloe, Hanna and Kamryn; her sisters, Barbara Pauley (Mike Howard) of Dubuque and Debra Cryderman (Jerry); and her parents-in-law, Diane Reeg of Bellevue, IA, Mike, Peg Reeg, Judy, Ken Lochner, Don, Val Reeg, Imelda, Bill Boyce of Dubuque, James Reeg (Doc) and Kathy Kean. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty served on numerous boards over the years including the Central Community High School Athletic Booster Club for 8 years, the DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation and the Genesis Foundation Board for 15 years. She helped to start the annual charity golf tournament which benefited the DeWitt hospital.
