He is survived by: his daughter Sonja Frei (Gregg) of Minonk, Illinois; his granddaughters, Gwyn and Brynn Frei; and his siblings, Aldean Kainz (Nancy) of Austin, Dar Lange (Bill) of Mexico Beach, Shelia Schrader (Al) of DeWitt, Kevin Kainz (Nancy) of Ely and Diane Bohmbach (Tim) of Red Wing, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
