She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Skarda and Josie Skarda (Prochaska); her spouse Leo Linkey; her son-in-law Richard Taylor; and her brothers, Harry, Richard and Elbert Skarda.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Linkey (Dixie) of Kansas City, MO and Janis Taylor of Diagonal, IA; her grandchildren, Michael Taylor (Jean Ann) of Creston, William Taylor (Joni) of Creston, Scott Taylor (Niky) of Waukee, Todd Taylor (Jennifer) of Parkville, MO, Shawn Persell (Nate) of Liberty, MO and Tami Burlington (Rusty) of Kansas City, MO; her great grandchildren, Ryan Taylor (Janelle) of Waukee, Blair Taylor (Martina) of Sioux City, Colby Taylor, Jenna Taylor of Creston, Matt, Katie, Kyle Taylor of Parkville, MO, Brittlyn, Duke Taylor of Waukee, T. J., Anna Persell of Liberty, MO, Brock and Emily Burlington of Kansas City, MO; her great great grandchildren, Kayson, Tate, Cora, Landry and Rhett Taylor; her sister Mayme Cohron of Atlantic, IA; and her sister-in-law Peggy Skarda of Mount Ayr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
