She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon A. "Slim" and Vera M. Bladon (Green); her husband Richard Dean Hammond; her parents-in-law, Foster and Mary Hammond; her brothers, Doyle and LaVern Bladon; and her son-in-law Curt Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Dick" Hammond, Jr. and Diana Turner (James Pinson); her grandchildren, Callie Bruce (Mike), Tiffini Knight (Jason), Katie Turner (BJ Thompson), Ryan Hammond (Nikki), Travis Turner (Emily) and Atisha Bruce; her great grandchildren, Evan, Caitlin, Brooklyn, Berkley, Wyatt, Beau, Cole, Kyle, Kennedy, Ethan, Cael, Ella, Ben, Abbie and Owen; her brother Frank Bladon (Ginger); her sisters-in-law, Helen Bladon, Rene Bladon and Phyllis Ann Andrews (Bill); and her aunt Doris Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Dollars For Scholars in Diagonal or Creston and the United Church of Diagonal.
