He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold William and Bernice Lewie Madison Schaefer; his wife Betty Jean Carson; his son Randy; his siblings, Lowell R. Schaefer (Maxine), Thressa Willey (Don), Darlene Ricker (Eldon) and Shirley Braaten; and his parents-in-law, Robert Wallaker and Marie Schaefer.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Eugene and Caryl Ann (Brian Fine); and his grandchildren, Clint Fine, Rachel Honey (Trent) and Ryan Fine (Sara). He is also survived by five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
