She was predeceased by : her parents, Eldie Whisler and Irene Whisler (Oehrlein); her husband Leonard Mueller; her son-in-law Ron Thiering; her sister Elaine Matherly; and her brothers-in-law, Vern "Butch" Grau and Harold Matherly.

She is survived by : her children, Garry of Donahue and Margie Thiering of Walcott; her granddaughters, Michelle Cook (Clark) of Des Moines and Marla Freeman (Mark) of Davenport; her great grandchildren, Blake and Molly Freeman of Davenport; her sister Marcella Grau of DeWitt; and her nephews, Marty and Kurt Matherly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Donahue Fire Department or charity of the donor's choice.
