He was predeceased by : his parents, James Slater and Dorothy Slater (Greder); and his brother Tom Slater. He is survived by : his children, Barb (Brett Moody) of Newburgh, Heather Slater (Dan) and Jake Slater (Mary) of Dow City; his granddaughters, Hayley, Danaca and Emily; and his siblings, Becky (Jim Randol) of Dow City, Denny Slater (Sandy) of Denison and Curt Slater of Defiance, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
