He is survived by: his parents, Ivan and Velma of Johnston; his brother Brian; and his aunts, Ruth Noelck of Hampton, Alice Heitshusen of Williamsburg, Luella Scott of Mechanicsville and Frances Magdefrau of Belle Plaine.
