He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Buchheit (Klotz); his children, Kathy Perry, Linda Glover (Clark), Mike Buchheit (Kim) and Steve Buchheit (Lee Ann); his stepdaughters, Kimberly Sufi and Reverend Lynn Thiede (Tim); and his siblings, Joe Buchheit (Linda), Toni Strey, Pat Eldan (Bob), Betty Topf and Jeanne Lucero (George). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Reiff Funeral Home (894 Peosta St, Peosta, IA 52068). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (16318 Holy Family Ln, Peosta, IA 52068).
