He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Kennedy and Lavonne Kennedy; his significant other Kathleen "Kathy" Farni of Dubuque; his children, Gary Kennedy (Christine), Jeff Kennedy (Stacy), Joey Kennedy (Amanda), Danny Kennedy (Jody), Lisa Kemp (Lenny) and Mary Ann Coates (Jamie); his grandchildren, Ashley (Adam), Kaytee (Mickey), Brooke, Megan, Jenna, Matthew, Luke, Emma, Allison, Hallie, Nick, Maci, Gracelyn, Natalie, Ava, Payton, Ella, Sophia, Karli, Nicole, Stella and Kenlee; his great grandchildren, Will, Tommy, Hank and Mack; his siblings, Barbara Martelle (Chuck), Georgia Schmit (Tim), Patrick Kennedy (Patricia), Richard Kennedy (Daisy) and Robert Kennedy (Latrelle); and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Farni and Buck Farni (Linda).
