She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Manders and Mildred Manders (Stork); her husband John Callahan (Jack); her brothers, Don and Dorrance Manders; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Manders; and her parents-in-law, Dorothy, Ray Callahan, Don Callahan, Chuck Callahan and Nilus Dalsing.
She is survived by : her children, Sue (Al), Mary Mabusth (Stuart) of Minneapolis, MN, John Callahan (Julie) of Dubuque, Jean McDonald (Jay) of Dubuque, Joel Callahan (Cindy) of Dubuque, Ann Cummer (Dale) of Dubuque, Jim Callahan (Renee) of Bettendorf, IA and Vicki Jensen (Dean) of Parnell, IA.; her grandchildren, Erin Davis (Ben), Caitlin Frommelt (Kyle), Jared, Nolan, Drew Mabusth, Matt Althaus, Katrina Althaus, Kody Callahan, Kyle Callahan (Natalie), Mariel Callahan, Erin Cavanaugh (Shaun), Dillon Hefel, Molly, Meghan McDonald, Stephanie, Joey, Zachary Callahan, Rachel, Ryan, Will Cummer, Jackson, Tyger, Maylee, Kimbree, Jerry Callahan, Caleb and Maggie Jensen; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Wyatt, William Davis, Amara Althaus, Charlotte, Quinn Callahan and James Cavanaugh; and her parents-in-law, Patricia Manders, Marilyn Callahan, Barbara Callahan, Mary Ann Dalsing, Tony, Betty Callahan, Denny, Shirley Donovan and Manternach.
In lieu of flowers and to continue Jeanette's legacy, memorials may be given to the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
