It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Pins formerly of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Margaret Mary Kendall (Deeny); her father-in-law William Pins; her grandmother Anna Johnson; and her pets, Henry and Chloe.

She is survived by : her husband Bill Pins; her daughter Mia Pins; her stepdaughter Kayla Martin (Pins); her grandchildren, Tucker, Logan, Henry and Ellie; her father Jim Kendall; her sister Karla Viertel (Mike); her niece Lily; and her parents-in-law, Aileen Pins, Juanita Burke (Tom), Todd Pins, Lisa Herting (Mike) and Julie Kaufmann (Eric). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Karen's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
