It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne S. Faber of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Marie. He is survived by: his significant other Donna; his children, Mark Faber (Mary), Deb Timm (Stu), Tim Faber (Bev), Scott Faber (Janet) and Michelle DeMuth (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan), Curtis (Mari), Nick (Evelyn), Matt (Kat), Ben (Amber), Andy (Taylor), Justin (Tracy), Brenton (Nicol), Alex (Rachel), Malia (Zach), Caitlin (Mike), Brooke (Shane) and Collin (Melissa).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dubuque or the Highland Volunteer Fire Department as Vern and Donna were members.
