With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene M. Day of Dumont, Iowa, born in Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Muhlenbruch and Clara Muhlenbruch (Spangenberg); her husband Harry Day; her granddaughter Stacy Day; and her siblings, Leona, Lucille, Gladys, Lawrence and Victor.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Day (Ellen) of Shell Rock and Marcia Bair (Lyle) of Keswick; her sister Arnelda Knipfel of Iowa Falls; her grandchildren, Shelly (Brian), Sarah Titmus (Preston), Adam Bair (Jennifer), Meredith Rumohr (John) and Nathan Bair (Kellie); and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Dawson, Henry Bair, Ella Bair, Brody Bair, Burkley Bair, Bristol Bair, Noelle Rumohr and Isla Rumohr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dumont Reformed Church.
