He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Goedken and Veronica Goedken (Krogman); his siblings, Leo Goedken, Anthony "Bud" Goedken (Esther), Gladys Steger (Donald) and Grace Feldmann (Tom); and his brother-in-law Irvin Sellner.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Maxine" Goedken of Dyersville; his children, Gregory Goedken (Peg) of Rickardsville, Pam Hoefer (Bill) of Guttenberg, Steve Goedken of Deerwood, MN, Lynnette Goedken of Dyersville, Rod Goedken (Wendy) of Dyersville and Nathan Goedken (Jess) of Earlville; his sisters, MaDonna Sellner of Earlville and Eileen Wiskus (Bill) of Luxemburg, IA; and his sister-in-law Lois Goedken of Dyersville. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
