She was predeceased by : her parents, John Meyer and Lena Meyer (Schultz); her husband Ronald Brandel; her son John Charles Brandel; her great grandchildren, Derek Hirsch and Audrey Hirsch; and her siblings, Merlin Meyer (Bonnie), Darlene Spoerl (Red), Jeanette Billmeyer and Marian Meyer.
She is survived by : her family Doris; her children, Beth Schmerbach (Robert) of Dyersville, IA, Lynne Einarsen (Patrick) of Dubuque, IA and Chris Brandel of Wauwatosa, WI; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Schmerbach (Alysia), Ellen Hirsch (Michael), AnnaRose Einarsen, Olivia Einarsen and Max Einarsen; and her great grandchildren, Jacobe (Gabrielle), Lukes, Isabella, Joseph, John and Natalie.
