He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Olberding and Agnes Olberding (Kramer); his siblings, Dick (Alice), Gene, George and Grace Hermsen (Don); and his parents-in-law, Elmer and Mary Daly.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Daly (Katie); his children, Dan Olberding (Linda), Pat Olberding, Joe Olberding, John Olberding (Tammy) and Carol Mooney (Mike); his grandchildren, Derek Olberding (Kayla), Ashley Olberding, Chelsie Weatherman (Hunter), Amanda McCann (Ryan), McKenna Townsend (Ted), Cassidy Olberding, Shelby Harter (Brock) and Elizabeth Olberding; his great grandchildren, Parker, Reed, Marissa, Aiden and Sophia; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Darlene Olberding.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morris Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (415 8th St NW, Dyersville, IA 52040).
