He was predeceased by : his parents, Matthew Nadermann and Eleanora Nadermann (Beckman); his parents-in-law, John and Vasiliki Sarris (Connie); his son Matthew James Nadermann; his siblings, Elmer Nadermann (Juanita), Leo Nadermann (Dorothy), Lavern Nadermann (Agnes), Robert Nadermann (Jenny), Eileen Rauen (Sylvester), Imelda Smith and Bernice Garretson (Dean); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Reed and Chuck Irwin.

He is survived by : his wife Constance Sarris; his daughters, Joanie Nadermann of Houston, TX and Kim Knepper (Don) of Dyersville, IA; his grandchildren, Katie Stillmunkes (Alan), Dana Johnson (Kevin) and Tyler Knepper; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Alaina Stillmunkes, Henry, Nora and Nolan Johnson; his siblings, Tom Nadermann (Helen) and Germaine Reed; and his sister-in-law Angie Irwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Basilica or the Dyersville Foundation at MercyOne Hospital in Dyersville.
