He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Nurre and Abeline Nurre (Klostermann); his son Timothy John Nurre; his siblings, Verna Mae Steffen (Julius), Joe Nurre, Fritz Nurre (Rosemarie), Arlene Steffen (Dave) and Charlie Nurre (Alice); and his in-laws, Barney Langel, Pat Vaske and Charlie Vaske (Mary Alice).
He is survived by: his wife Dottie; his children, Vicky Nurre of Arlington, VA, Tom Nurre (Vena) of Fairfax, Susie Sondag and Gregg Nurre of Rockford, IL; his grandchildren, Grahm, Quinn, Olivia and Isabelle; his siblings, Rosemary Nickol of Dyersville and Gary Nurre (Rita) of Petersburg; and his in-laws, Helen Nurre, Bill Vaske, Helen Langel, Dick Vaske, Jim Vaske (Bev) and Marty Vaske (Joan).
