She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Kegler and Marie Kegler (Hitzler); her granddaughter Haley Coppes; her siblings, Ann Genz (Joe) and John Kegler (JoAnn); and her sister-in-law Lucinda Kegler.

She is survived by : her husband Bruce W. Brandenburg; her children, Tracy Lin Stickfort (Earl) of Garnavillo, IA, Donald Culbertson (Kristie) of Henderson, NV and Benjamin Culbertson (Denise) of Kalona, IA; and her siblings, Dorothy Smothers (Louis) of Dubuque, IA, Maggie Hoyt (Dave), Gerard Kegler (Vicky) of Casper, WY, George Kegler (Wanda) of Casper, WY, Francis Kegler (Jana) of Casper, WY and Christopher Kegler of Bar Nunn, WY.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild.
