He was predeceased by: his father Duane Straus. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Straus (Quail) of Early, IA; his son Chris Straus (Lindsey) of Aurelia, IA; his granddaughter Brailey Straus of Aurelia, IA; and his siblings, Terry Straus of Washington and Tammy Sowers (Kevin) of Zimmerman, MN. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
