She was predeceased by: her parents, George Staton and Florence Staton; her husband Raymond Mentzer; her granddaughter Sara Mentzer; her siblings, Katherine Birt, Martha Breon, Marjorie Hammer, Lee Staton, James Staton, Leo Staton, Wilber Staton, Rolland Staton and Claire Staton; and her son-in-law Charlie Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Mentzer (Lori) of Sac City, IA, Kathy Johnson (Kevin) of Winterset, IA, Jeff Mentzer (Dawn) of Early, IA, Diane Hansen of Schaller, IA and David Mentzer (Mary) of Early, IA; her grandchildren, Brian, Kurt, Andrea, Cassandra, C. J., Amanda, Devin, Jack, Ross, Emma, Evan, Katherine, Chuck, Kyle, Eric and Beth; her great grandchildren, Raelynn, Bentley, Olivia, Joe, Liz, Max, Noah, Marcus, Elodie, Brook and Bridget; and her sister Joann Vauble. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made to Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake, IA, for their new family room or the United Methodist Church in Early, IA.
