She was predeceased by: her parent Rene Kurth; her husband Paul Heim; her mother Kathryn Kurth (Karn); her brother Bob Kurth; her children-in-law, Irain Lynn Heim (Campbell) and Jeff Nibbelink; and her grandchildren, Jordan Heim and Melanie Heim.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria (Vicki), Charles (Chuck), Barbara (Barb), Jeffrey (Jeff), Vicki Heim of Whitesboro, TX, Chuck Heim (Kendra) of South Point, OH, Barb Weinzetl (Jerry) of Las Vegas, NV, Rick Heim (Kay) of Whitesboro, TX, Jeff Heim (Ann) of Bettendorf, IA and Kim Nibbelink (Kim) of Sioux Center, IA; and her siblings, Bill Kurth (Karen) of Lake City, IA, Don Kurth (Joan) of Bullhead City, AZ, Jim Kurth (Sue) of Arvada, CO and Mary Kay Litzel of Ames, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews spread far and wide; other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers or plants the family requests you offer a memorial contribution to New Hope Village in Carroll, IA, where Sandy's granddaughter, Melanie, was a long-time resident, or the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, Fort Dodge, IA, where Sandy passed in comfort and peace.
