She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Pike" O'Dell; and her brother Donald Luallen. She is survived by: her sons, Dwight O'Dell of Baytown, TX, Tracy O'Dell (Patti) of Eldridge, IA and Drew O'Dell of Rock Island, IL; her grandchildren, Shannon VanMeter (Zach) of Des Moines, IA, Anthony O'Dell of Des Moines, IA and Kate O'Dell of Parnell, IA; her great grandchildren, Watson and Everett VanMeter of Des Moines; her sister Bernice Asplund of Bettendorf, IA; her son Shawn; and her brother Willis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
