It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hiatt of Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam Reafling and May Reafling (Davis); her husband Max E. Hiatt; her grandchildren, Jerrit Hiatt and Sherry Kunz; and her son Randy Hiatt.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carol Imming (Bruce) of Eaton and Nancy Finnestad (Ron) of Emmetsburg, Iowa. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
