He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Evans and Emma Mae Evans (Kleen); his wife Marian C. Barkve; and his siblings, Bob Evans, Larry Evans and Emma Jean Manson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Evans (Nichole) of Emmetsburg and Karla Lappe (David) of Algona, Iowa; his grandchildren, Zach Foxhoven, Emma Foxhoven, Mason Foxhoven, Payton Evans, Dylan Lappe (Kylie), Drew Lappe and Dawson Lappe; his great grandchildren, Henry Lappe and Lydia Lappe; and his siblings, Warren Evans (Pat) of Estherville, Iowa, Faye Egerstrom of Sherman Oak and Donna Mayne of LeMars, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Dale's family requests memorials be given to: V.F.W. Post #2295 ~ Emmetsburg, Bethany Lutheran Church ~ Emmetsburg, Palo Alto County Hospice.
