She was predeceased by: her parents, William Loftis and Margaret Loftis (Anderson); her brother James Loftis; her stepmother Caroline Loftis; and her parents-in-law, John and Zelma Peta.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Peta; her children, Diane Helget (Tim), Ron Peta (Dawn) and Mark Peta (Tracy); and her sister Edna Payne. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
