He is survived by : his siblings, Joleen Planting (Steve) of Estherville, David Gruhlke (Michelle) of Estherville, Mike Gruhlke (LeAnn) of Jackson, MN and Rick Gruhlke (Mindy Ehlers) of Estherville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
