Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Neppl and Julia Neppl (Thelen); her husband Kenneth Thiel of Patrick's Catholic Church; her sons, Greg and Douglas; her siblings, Margaret Bundy, Al Neppl and Laverdas "Shorty" Neppl; and her grandson RJ Nissen.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Pattison (Mike), Brian Thiel, Mark Thiel (Deb) and Lori Nissen (Randy); her daughter-in-law Pat Thiel; her siblings, Norma Myers and Edward Neppl; and her sister-in-law Mary Jean Thiel. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (903 Central Ave, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
