With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carole Livingston of Fairfax, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Svoboda and Maxine Svoboda (Havlik); her husband John "Jack" Livingston; and her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Harriet Livingston (Kelly).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Livingston (Tina) of Rochester, MN, Jeffrey Livingston (Jaki) of Norwalk and Julie Magee (Dennis) of Dunkerton; her grandchildren, August, Charles (Megan), Eleanor Magee, Abbigail Doud (Jackson), Elizabeth and John "Jack" Livingston; her great grandchild Oliver Doud; her brother Dennis Svoboda of Cedar Rapids; and her sister-in-law Marlene Kuhn of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (8100 Roncalli Dr SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
