She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Linnenkamp (Peiffer) and Francis Linnenkamp; her husband JB; and her siblings, Keith Linnenkamp (Mary) and Rita Carter (Harold).
She is survived by: her children, J. R. Banes (Becki) of Toddville, Curtis Banes (Calleen) of Cedar Rapids, Tom Banes of Fairfax and Lauralee Heusing (John) of Amana; her grandchildren, Corey Banes (Vicky), Cody Lucky (Dan), Jordan Brown (Tim), Riley Forbes (Kyle), Cameron Eubanks (Sami), Spencer Eubanks and Jake Heusing (Cora); and her siblings, Ione Hanrahan, Maryanne Clark, Paul Linnenkamp and Karen Horras (Richard). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (8100 Roncalli Dr SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a charity of their choice.
