She is survived by : her former life partner Richard Lee Thomas; her children, Jeff Thomas (Teresa) of Keosauqua, Rhonda Neeley (Michael) of Cloverdale and Jackie Poarch (Gary) of Petaluma, California; her grandchildren, Kris Thomas (Sarah), Aaron Hopper (Natalie), Ashley Hopper, Jessica Craun, Sarah Neeley, Derek Poarch (Laura), Wesley Poarch and Brycen Poarch (Megan); her great grandchildren, MacKenzie Ricco, Draque Ricco, Kaleb, Maison, Emma Hopper, Wyatt and Halle Babcock; her grandchildren, Maxwell, Clara Poarch, Oslo and Rohen Poarch; her great great grandchild Ilene; and her siblings, Janet Bitner of Indiana and Victor Downing (Cleone) of Indiana.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Behner Funeral Home & Crematory (203 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
