She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence VanNess and Helen VanNess (Lee); her daughter Amy Renee Bausk; her brother-in-law Clyde Thomas; and her nephew Marlin Fulton.

She is survived by : her husband Larry Fulton of Fairfield; her children, Todd Fulton (Julie) of Keosauqua and Marcy Stearns of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fulton, Joe Stearns, Kate Stearns, Mitchell Fulton and Lindsay Belluomo; and her siblings, Ron Van Ness (Nancy), Don VanNess (Susan) and Judy Thomas. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McElhinny Women's Club or Hospice Compassus.
