Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Regina Samuelson formerly of Fairfield, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 78, on January 27, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, James A. Tracy and Mary Tracy (Pohlson). She is survived by : her brother James Victor; her husband Donald of Ankeny, IA; her children, Michael of Des Moines, IA and Beth Bice (Chris); her granddaughter Maggie of Ankeny; her brother James V. Tracy (Penryn) of McLean, VA; her uncle Robert Tracy of Cedar Rapids, IA.; and her pets, Rhando, Frank, Doug and Che. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as countless friends.
We cannot thank the staff of Arbor Springs in West Des Moines and Suncrest Hospice enough for their care these last months when we were unable to be at her side due to the global pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Suncrest Hospice and the American Home Finding Association of Ottumwa, Iowa who provided her with the gift of being a mom.
