We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Pauline Hermann-Dorothy of Fairfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her aunt Lou (Marjory Wilhelm); her brother Allen "Willy" Heisel; her grandson Jace Stafford; and her stepson Dennis Dorothy. She is survived by: her former spouse Toby Hermann; her friend Donnie Dorothy; her husband Donnie; her children, Toby Hermann (Laurie) of Iowa City, Tim Hermann (Lorrie) of Jefferson City, Ted Hermann (Helene) of Winfield, Trudie Crum (Ralph) of Amarillo and Tom Hermann (Michelle) of Iowa City; her stepchildren, Dirk Dorothy of Fairfield, Peggy McDonald of Libertyville and Brigit Kuchenbecker of Cedar Rapids; and her sisters, Bettye Davis of Wichita, Beverly Mason of Burlington and LuEtta Fulton (Dennis) of Keosauqua.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Behner Funeral Home & Crematory (203 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556).
