It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Moe of Forest City, Iowa, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Duane Moe; her great grandchild Bryanna Wyatt; her brother Maynard Peterson; her brother-in-law Jerome Hermanson; and her parents, Milton Peterson and Inborg Peterson (Stromley).

She is survived by : her daughters, Debbie Strom (Steve) of Garner, IA and Colette Smith (Tom) of Osage, IA; her grandchildren, Travis Strom, Sarah Kieschnick (Jeremy Wilson), Katie Gill (Bud), Jamie, Jes Strom, Jeremiah Wyatt (Angela), Robyn Jacob (Cory), Ryan Strom (Katie), Colby Smith (Marylyn) and Erik Wyatt (Courtney Johnson); her great grandchildren, Makayla (Aidan), Drew, Ashton, Cody, Leighton, Nate, Ahna, Cooper G., Ethan, Madden, Carson, Jaxson, Cooper J., Caden, Harrison, Mila, Kyley and Ellie Ann; her sisters, Judy Hermanson of Lake Mills, IA and Ila Peterson of Lake Mills, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Sprecher (Wayne) of Lake Mills and Warren Moe (Jean) of Kansas City, MO.
