She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Hackbart and Emma Horton Hackbart (Virginia); her spouse Kaye Betts; her daughter-in-law Blenn Betts; and her brother-in-law Don DeWalle Sr..
She is survived by : her children, Tonya Bergman (Betts) and Bob Betts (Kendra Sporing); her grandchildren, Aaron Hickman, Evelyn Hickman, Avery Bergman and Hadley Bergman; her siblings, Bev DeWalle (Linda) of Charles City and Charlie Hackbart (Glenda) of Hayward; and her close friends, Kathy Tosel (Putman), Cyndi Hungerford (Dodd) and Dianne Schiermiester (Hall). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
