He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Cherie Ewald (Matthew) of Lakeville, MN, Shawn Torgerson of Forest City, IA, Shannon Swearingen (Troy) of Forest City, IA and Holly Smith (Andrew) of Farmington, MN; his grandchildren, Paige, Braden, Jessa, Kolton, Ella, Mara and Carter; and his siblings, Joan Pfeffer (John) of Ames, IA and Rodney Torgerson (Bonnie) of Mankato, MN.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be designated to one of the following three organizations: The COVID-19 Research Fund at Mayo Clinic.
