It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D. Shackleton of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Bethany, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Shackleton; his wife Kathryn Gilpatrick; and his children, Sharon Herington and Michael Gene Shackleton. He is survived by: his children, Steve Shackleton (Lou) of Fort Dodge and Sheila Balm (Randy) of Fort Dodge; and his grandchildren, Bronson Konopasek, Ed Svaleson III, Brian Balm (Lisa), Amber Gambill and Brandon Balm (Pascale). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
