With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Jean Peterson-Shipp of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Peterson; her siblings, Gerald, Howard and Rosalie Ashbridge; her parents, Harley Thomas and Mabel Thomas (Binder); and her husband Ollie Dean Shipp.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Gollob (Steve); her grandchildren, Kaela Nerhus (Preston) and Kacee; her siblings, Eileen Lemons, Larry (Yvonne), Vernon (Darlene), Dallas (Mary) and Phillip Thomas (Linda); and her sister-in-law Merna Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
