It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen S. Drummond of Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Krieger and Roline Danley Krieger; her spouse Jerry Drummond; her son Kurt Myers; her granddaughter Megan Hay; her son-in-law Thad Hay; her stepson Duane Drummond; and her stepgrandson Tony Campbell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Hay of Ft. Madison; her granddaughters, Amanda Hay, Julie Hay (Jake) and Sara Peer (Wes); her great grandchildren, Henry and Henrik; her brother Robert Krieger (Tina) of Ft. Madison; and her stepchildren, Dennis Drummond (Grace), Diana Robinson, Denise Parks (Mark), Donna Drummond and Lynn Schorfheide (Bill). She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
