He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony "Anton" and Lena Benac (Golic); and his siblings, Kay, Tina, Vince, Marion and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Main of Fruitland; his children, Anthony "Tony" Benac of Fruitland, Terry Benac (Diane Briggs) of Muscatine, Todd Benac (Anne Myers) of Muscatine and Sarah Benac of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Ashley Irvin (Tony Simmons), Sheila Sanders, Danielle Benac (Brock Busch), Seth (Natalie Benac), Kaleb Benac and Klayton Benac (Cydney); and his great grandchildren, Bryson Busch, Laekken Benac, Zayden Benac, Zander Benac, Skielyn Irvin, Aubrella Sanders, Johnathan Benac and Elizabeth Benac. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
