He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haynes (Jack) and Helen Haynes (Stokes); his son Casey Haynes; his brother John Haynes; his father-in-law Eugene O'Brien; and his brother-in-law Daryl O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Rachelle O'Brien of Fruitland; his children, Matt Thompson (Trisha), Brian Haynes, Kory Hogan (Kirsten), Brandon Haynes, Melanie Strong (Alex) and Shuree Beauchamp; his grandchildren, Dominic Haynes, Raelynn Deleon, Asher Strong, Quinton Haynes, Mackenzie, Graeme and Ryne Thompson; his siblings, Mel Jr. Owens (Linda), Alice Rice (Jeff), Shelia McNally (Jim), Howard Haynes (Sue), Ward Haynes (Jeannie), Deborah Johnson (Tim), Melody Hall (Dan) and Roger Haynes (Mary); and his mother-in-law Twyla O'Brien.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, the family request those attending visitation and funeral service to please wear a mask.
Tom had been actively involved with Youth Sports Foundation since its inception.
