He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Groth and Velma Groth (Willie); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Mary Horstman; his granddaughter Makenzie Groth; and his brother-in-law Karl Horstman.
He is survived by: his wife Una Groth of Garber; his sons, Terry Groth (Stacie) of Strawberry Point, Kevin Groth (Nikki) of Strawberry Point and Jared (Jody) of Garber; and his grandchildren, Damian, Meredith, Karsen, Liam, Erica, Kristen, Isabelle, Travis, Serena and Elsa Groth.
