She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hupfeld and Edna Hupfeld (Grimm); and her husband David L. Schirm. She is survived by : her children, Susan Karam (George) of Ely, Randy Schirm (Susan) of Garrison, Dan Schirm (Deb) of Vinton and Dave Schirm of Dysart; her grandchildren, Christian Karam (Stacy), Matthew Karam (Chenelle), Payton Schirm (Alexa), Dustin Schirm (Kimberly), Lewis Schirm, Jennifer Schirm, Randi DeCap (Andrew), Devon Burroughs (Bryce), Wyatt Schirm and Whitney Schirm; her great grandchildren, David, Mason, Charlie, Eva, Hudson, Kayde, Haleigh, Aleah, Ava, Addi, Auden, Braxton, Brynlee, Madison and Dawson; and her siblings, Melvin Hupfeld and Elaine Carlson (Art). She is also survived by five step grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren.
