He is survived by: his wife Retta of Vinton; his daughter Rilda Gustafson (Tim) of Keystone; his grandson Brett Thomsen (Keya) of Garwin; his great grandchild Sydney Thomsen; his stepgrandchildren, Ava Gustafson of Des Moines and MacKenna Gustafson of Des Moines; and his brother Larry Rice of Garrison.
