Velle and Gertrude La Velle (Ivis); his in-laws, Victor and Annis Halligan (Topliff); his siblings, Mary Terese Cranny (Robert), Patricia Duffy (James), John "Sonny" La Velle (Helen), Edward La Velle and Janet McSweeney (Richard); and his sister-in-law Connie La Velle.
He is survived by: his children, Michael La Velle (Nancy) of Norwalk, IA, John La Velle of Fort Dodge, IA, Linda McTaggart (Sean) of Ankeny, IA and Diane Brock (Chris) of Fort Dodge, IA.; his grandchildren, Kyle La Velle, Alec, Austin, Carter La Velle, Max, Jack, Josie McTaggart, Miranda Andersen (Justin), Michael Brock (Brynn) and Mariah Brock; his great grandchildren, River, Reed, Remi Andersen and Christopher Brock; and his brother Richard La Velle of Florida. He is also survived by his family, friends.
