He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl F. Mahan and Emma Mahan (Basch); his wife Carolyn Mahan; and his siblings, Edward, Earl, Jr., Erwin, Eldon, Evelyn Kessler and Emogene Kaufman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Mahan-Dofner (Harry), Kim Roberts (Raymond), Kristi Low (Mick) and Karyl Clark (Scott); and his sister Elaine Collier (Larry Garrett). He is also survived by six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
